About Us

Introduction

National Air Pollution Assessment Services c.c. (NAPAS c.c.), was established in 1988.
NAPAS c.c. is one of the first Approved Inspection Authorities (A.I.A. Certificate No: CI 014 OH) registered with the Department of Labour (DOL), to provide Occupational Hygiene Monitoring Services (Physical & Chemical Stress Factors, including Lead, Asbestos and Ventilation Systems) to Industries throughout South Africa.

On the 25th of March 2010, NAPAS c.c. became one of the first members of the South African Asbestos Forum (SAAF), spearheaded by the Department of Labor to streamline the working ethics between Asbestos Approved Inspection Authorities, Registered Asbestos Contractors and the Department of Labour.

NAPAS c.c. is accredited by the Department of Mineral Resources (DMR) to conduct Ventilation, Occupational Hygiene, Environmental and Safety Management on all Mines in South Africa, Surface and Underground Operations.

Our Head Office is situated in Johannesburg and we have a satellite office in Rustenburg.
The services rendered by NAPAS c.c. include Ventilation Planning and Management, Occupational Hygiene Monitoring Services, Environmental Monitoring Services, Safety Consulting and VOHES Instrumentation Sales, Calibration and Repairs.
