Noise Dosimeters (doseBadges)

An Intrinsically Safe version of the doseBadge, the CR:110AIS, is available. The CR:110AIS can be used in hazardous zones, for example in underground mines, petrochemical plants and other areas that require safe measurement equipment. Explosive atmospheres can be caused by flammable gases, mists or vapours or by combustible dusts and the CR:110AIS doseBadge is ideal for use in these types of environments.

The CR:110AIS has the same measurement functions as the standard CR:110A version and can be used in the same way as the standard version. For details of the measurements available please refer to the CR:110A doseBadge Datasheet.

The CR:110AIS doseBadge meets the requirements of the ATEX Directive for both Mining and Non-Mining applications. In addition, the CR:110AIS carries IECEx, EEx, MSHA & SABS Certifications. Details of the certification are shown below.

The CR:110AIS doseBadge has been issued an IECEx Certificate by the Safety in Mines Testing and Research Station (Simtars) which is part of the Queensland Government in Australia. The IECEx Certification is for Ex ia I -20°C = Ta = +60°C and the certificate number is IECEx SIM 07.0004X.

Other certifications and approvals may also be available for the CR:110AIS doseBadge. Please visit the Cirrus Research plc website at www.cirrusresearch.co.uk for further information.

Safety Officers Noise Measuring Kit

After many requests, Cirrus Research plc have combined their most popular noise measurement instruments into a ‘One Kit Fits All’ solution… “The Safety Officers’ Noise Measurement Kit

The combination of both our renowned doseBadge Personal Noise Dosimeters and Sound Level Meters presents the ideal measurement solution for those wishing to make thorough noise risk assessments all contained in one durable kit case.

The Sound Level Meter chosen to accompany the doseBadge Noise Dosimeters can be selected to suit the user’s requirements.

Options of Sound Level Meter vary from the simple to operate ‘point and press’ CR:262 , most popular with on-site health & safety managers displaying everything you need on one screen; to meters with data logging, download software or octave band frequency analysis used to help in identifying appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The CR:800B series of data logging meters, which are ideal for both Occupational and Environmental measurements, are a favourite with consultants, local governments, local authorities and health and safety managers of larger companies.
These users may also have a role in environmental monitoring and so choosing a Sound Level Meter that can be used for environmental noise measurements can help to reduce on-site operation, monitoring or download time.

The Safety Officers’ Noise Measurement Kits include user manuals, quick start guide, calibration certificates, sound level meter windshield, acoustic calibrator, batteries and power cables.

The software is supplied without licensing restrictions, a feature that can be essential for multi-site use, consultancy assessments or rental. Perodic software upgrades are available from the Cirrus Website free of charge to ensure your reporting remains up-to-date.

As well as providing everything needed for a noise assessment in form of the Safety Officers’ Noise Measurement Kit, ongoing technical support is at hand and our equipment also comes with the new ‘2-12’ Year Warranty. This provides an initial 24-month warranty that can be extended up to 12 years provided the equipment is serviced and recalibrated every 12 months. This warranty is subject to the terms and conditions of the Cirrus Research plc ‘2-12’ Year Warranty which are available on request
